Join Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide Lori Carter toexperience nature’s power to soothe, refresh, and open yourheart. Based on the the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku(roughly translated to Forest Bathing) is a slow, sensory-basedwalk in the woods, during which, through various “invitations”, oractivities, given to you, we focus on the sights, sounds, smells, feels and tastes of nature. This is neither a naturalist explorationnor a fitness trek; this walk is about soaking in the vast benefitsof spending relaxed time in nature. It’s also about tending andmending our relationships with nature, ourselves, and others. There are no requirements – just come as you are. If there are anyaccessibility concerns please let us know ahead of time and wecan accommodate. The walk will end with a tea gathering to celebrate our timetogether and to pause and appreciate the place where we are.
