Join Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide Lori Carter toexperience nature’s power to soothe, refresh, and open yourheart. Based on the the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku(roughly translated to Forest Bathing) is a slow, sensory-basedwalk in the woods, during which, through various “invitations”, oractivities, given to you, we focus on the sights, sounds, smells, feels and tastes of nature. It’s also about tending andmending our relationships with nature, ourselves, and others. There are no requirements – just come as you are. If there are anyaccessibility concerns please let us know ahead of time and wecan accommodate. The walk will end with a tea gathering to celebrate our timetogether and to pause and appreciate the place where we are.
