Uniform Services Division

The Uniform Division of the Bentonville Police Department, often referred to as "Patrol", is the largest division within the agency. Patrol is the heart of our department and the first point of contact for the general public.

These men and women strive to make our roadways and neighborhoods safe by enforcing criminal and traffic laws, contacting citizens in need, and patrolling their assigned areas.

The city is divided into three geographical areas (zones) covering over 34 miles2.. Officers in this division work 4/10 hour work days and are lead by (1) Lieutenant and (2) Sergeants per shift.

Officers within this division often have collateral duties with numerous hours of specialized training. All officers began their career in patrol and after approximately three years of certified law enforcement experience can apply for special assignments.
