Camp Mad Science is a day camp of educational entertainment full of fun hands-on science for campers ages 4 - 13. Activities include rocket building and launching (kids get to build their own Estes model rocket to take home), learning how to make slime, Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth (fossil) casting, laser and light show, and a final lesson of the science behind the invention of cotton candy. Yes, everyone gets all-you-can eat Cotton Candy! Just bring a sack lunch, and we will provide the beverages. Camp Mad Science will take place at the Bentonville Community Center. Camp is limited to 40 campers per session. Each camper will receive a Camp Bentonville t-shirt!

Camp Brixology: Science Behind the Building

Discover the secrets of working in space – efficiency and compact design. Create a trussed space station module, then connect it with others to create a massive modular spacecraft and towers - reach for the sky! Find out how structural engineers use ideas from physics to solve problems. Work together to build a structurally sound tower with a working elevator, then test and improve your design for strength and stability. For campers ages 4 - 13 years.
