Join us for an hour of quiet reading with fellow book lovers!
Are you looking for a way to read books in your TBR pile? Are you wanting somewhere comfy and relaxing to read and share books with like-minded people?
BPL is starting a new book club! Please join us for Silent Book Club where everyone is welcome and there is no assigned reading - you choose what you read! There will be no pressure to discuss, but only if you want to in a nice and supportive space. Bring a book you have been wanting to read and read for an hour. We can then discuss our books or you can keep reading!
Silent Book Club was originally founded by two friends in 2012 because reading with friends and meeting new people in the community enriches lives and makes people happy. Silent Book Club will be held in 211 Café, where special literary-themed drinks will be available for purchase during the event. Registration is not required
