Bentonville, AR… The City of Bentonville is hosting its nineteenth consecutive tree giveaway. The goal of the giveaway is to increase the city’s overall tree canopy, promote a healthier environment and improve the physical appearance and visual character of the built environment.
Approximately 400 trees are available to Bentonville residents. Only those residents that live inside the city limits qualify for the tree giveaway.
Pre-registration is available which enables participants to receive advanced Bentonville residency verification and tree reservation.A limited number of trees will be available for Bentonville residents that did not pre-register on a first come, first serve basis. Proof of Bentonville residency is required, which is a City of Bentonville utility bill and ID.
The giveaway is made possible by the city’s Tree & Landscape Advisory Committee, the Bentonville Parks Conservancy, Steuart Walton, and the Walton Family Foundation.

Available Tree Species Include (subject to change): 3 gallon Red Maple (100 count), 5 gallon Redbud (100 count), 3 gallon Bald Cypress (100 count), 3 gallon Chinese Pistache (63 count), 3 gallon Pin Oak (37 count).
Pre-Registration: On March 31st around 8:00 a.m., the pre-registration link will be posted on the city website: http://www.bentonvillear.com/837/Spring-Tree-Giveaway. At that time, you will click on the link to pre-register.
