Bentonville, Ark – Children’s book and cookbook author, Crescent Dragonwagon, will visit Bentonville Public Library (BPL) on Saturday, December 3 for 2 (two) events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her cookbook Dairy Hollow House Soup & Bread: Thirtieth Anniversary Edition and the newly-illustrated release of her children’s book Will It Be Okay?
BPL will host Dragonwagon on December 3 for A Day with Crescent Dragonwagon. There will be two events that day, one at 10:00am and the other at 1:30pm. At 10:00am is A Morning with Crescent Dragonwagon in the Walmart Community Room. Dragonwagon will present a book talk to community attendees on Dairy Hollow House Soup & Bread: Thirtieth Anniversary Edition, as well as discuss how stories come alive. The presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A.
At 1:30pm, An Afternoon with Crescent Dragonwagon will be in the Children’s Area. Dragonwagon will present a storytime for all ages. She will read her newest book Will It Be Okay? as well as a sampling of her other children's books. Please join us for an afternoon of stories, songs and more!
After each event, Dragonwagon will sit down for a book signing. Some of her many books will be available for purchase from Two Friends Books. A portion of book sale proceed benefits the Library. Registration is not required for either event. A few lucky attendees will win one of Dragonwagon’s books, courtesy of the Friends of the Bentonville Library.
Crescent Dragonwagon is the much-published author of fifty books in five genres, numerous magazine articles for publications like The New York Times Book Review, Lear's and Cosmopolitan as well as two blogs. She is the developer and leader of the Fearless Writing™ family of on and offline workshops.
