Can you hack it? A hackathon is a coding design event where youth will tackle a challenge with coding to produce something useful, a "hack".
· Saturday July 16th
· 9:30am - 2:30pm
· Bentonville Community Center
· Ages 5 to 12 years old
· $50.00 Member | $60.00 Non-Member
· Participants will need to bring their own laptop
Theme
The theme will be assigned at location. Everyone will compete individually with no outside help.

For Minecraft Contestants
Please download on your device in advance, Minecraft Education Edition. We will share the license user id and password with contestants at the Hackathon.
No purchase is required on your end.
For MIT Scratch Contestants
We will assign the user id and password at the location.
Schedule
· Arrive at 9:30 am
· 9:30 to 9:45 am - Take seats and theme assignment
· 9:45 to 10:45 am - Coding & Designing (MIT Scratch or Minecraft)
· 11:00 to 12:15 pm - Presentations
· 1:00 to 1:30 pm - Prize Ceremony
Judges round up results from 12:15 to 1:00 pm.
All contestants return at 1:00 pm for Awards.
