Coaches younger than 18 years old MUST have another coach on the field with them at all times that is 18 years or older.
Softball Equipment Requirements / FAQ's
Player Age Eligibility
Girls must play in the division for which their age qualifies them to. Ages, according to USSSA, are calculated on December 31 for each season. Therefore, all girls must play in the division to which their age qualified them for on December 31. See the 2023 Player Age Eligibility for the upcoming spring 2023 season.
BPR Softball coaches may reserve fields for their BPR recreation Softball team once season starts on any nights that the BPR program is not using them for free.
To schedule a field or check for availability, please call the front desk at 479-464-7275 or contact Baylee D'Amico at email@example.com.
Turf Field Surface
We want everyone to be reminded that our infields at Memorial Park are synthetic turf surface. This means a lot of great things for softball, as well as some rules changes, the more important of which is that no metal cleats (whatsoever) are allowed on these fields.
We will permit rubber molded cleats to be used, but we recommend turf shoes or tennis shoes on the synthetic turf surface.
