Bentonville Parks and Recreation Facility Updates

2

The Bentonville Community Center

Currently the Fitness Center, Fitness Classes, Lap Swimming, and Recreation Swimming are open for session registration to members only. Members can register for sessions online once your membership is activated.

The Kids Center is scheduled to begin a modified opening on Monday, June 15. Members will be able to register their children for the Kids Center starting on Monday, June 8. The Kids Center will be open for children ages 3-10 years at this time. We will be limiting the capacity to 20 children, split between two rooms, to meet State Health Department guidelines.

Community Rooms remain closed for reservations at this time.

The Basketball Gymnasium is closed for open play at this time.

The Citizens Lounge and Lobby are closed at this time.

The Downtown Activity Center

The DAC is open for public business from Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Our Fitness Studios, Restrooms, Locker Rooms, Conference Room, and Bike Rentals will not open or resume programming at this time.

Lawrence Plaza Splash Park

The splash park will not be open at this time due to current CDC and National Recreation and Parks Association guidance. As these directives are updated, we will update our opening plan for this facility.

Melvin Ford Aquatic Center

Lap Swim will start on Monday, June 1. Registration for lap swimming is currently open for members.

Open Recreation Swim will begin on Friday, June 12. Recreation Swim will be from 12pm-3pm Friday-Sunday and is open to the public and members. We will not offer registration for open swim but will operate at 50% capacity per State Health Department directives.
