Beginning January 1, 2026, the Bentonville Police Department pay scale is the following: 

Annual Salary  (*includes holiday pay)

Uncertified-Police Officer I      $55,950.00

Certified-Police Officer II         $59,454.00

 (*PO II- after 1 year of service or lateral entry start pay)

Corporal                                    $67,723.00

(*Corporal - 5 years service at Bentonville PD or after 1 year at Bentonville PD and 4 years certified experience at another agency; combination thereof)

• Associate  $35.00     per pay period ($910.00/year)
• Bachelors $100.00   per pay period ($2,600.00/year)
• Masters     $150.00   per pay period ($3,900.00/year)

• Intermediate    $100.00 per pay period ($2,600.00/year)

Hazmat/Special Duty Pay                                      

• K9 Officer           $115.00 per pay period ($2,990.00/year)
• Bomb Squad      $150.00 per pay period ($3,900.00/year)         
• SWAT                 $100.00 per pay period ($2,600.00/year)                                    
• HAZMAT             $75.00  per pay period ($1,950.00/year)
