1935 Model Ford

The truck went through a complete frame-off refurbish in 2009 at the cost of over $50,000.00.

The remodel was done through donations by the Grimes Family, The Bentonville Fire Department Paid Firefighters Association, and Ray Pearce at R and R Street Rods who donated the bulk of the time and money for the project.

The Braun Liberty

The Liberty  from Braun Ambulances is a focus unit with extensive customization capabilities.  BFD opted for a Type 1 built on a Ford F-450 Chassis. It is a 156" module with 72" of headroom.  We chose this model for its extensive customization, large storage space, and Braun's standard safety features. Highlighting these features is an all-aluminum module: there is NO wood in the module of these ambulances. Other features we chose were a customized door-forward design, an external front condenser, a Brigade 360 degree camera system, and Braun's standard sliding door. Overall, Braun Ambulances are known across the United States for their commitment to safety, quality, innovation, and extensive customization capabilities.  We currently run 4 ambulances in the city of Bentonville and all are exactly as this unit.
