City council passed the 2024 budget on 11/14/2023.
The City of Bentonville applies for the GFOA (Government Finance Officers Association) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award annually. To receive this budget award, the city must satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. These guidelines are designed to assess how well an entity's budget serves as: A policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communication device.
