Bentonville, AR……. The 2024 Run Bentonville Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, April 6, on the Bentonville Square. An estimated 3,800 participants will compete in the Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, and 5k race, presented by Walmart and Nestle.
Bentonville is growing fast which means our race is always changing. It looks different every year with new sites, new buildings, new parks, new trails, redefining our landscape, our city, our race, your experience. From the historic downtown square, and the vibrant market district, to the beautiful rolling hills and trails of North Bentonville, experience 13.1 miles in our city.
The weekend kicks off with the Run Bentonville Health & Wellness Expo and packet pick up on Friday, April 5. Orgain is presenting sponsor of this event at Ledger Bentonville – 240 S. Main Street. The Expo is open to runners and guests from 10:00am – 7:00pm.
On Saturday, April 6, road closures will begin by 6:00am. This includes intersections on 2nd Street, Main Street, NE A Street, Central Avenue and J Street, McCollum Drive, John DeShields Boulevard, Martin Luther King Junior Parkway, 5th Street, SW A Street, Bella Vista Way, and one northbound lane on Walton Boulevard. Anyone traveling on these roads can expect a brief delay. Closures along the course will follow a rolling schedule as runners clear the streets impacted. Both the half marathon and relay, presented by Nestle and McLarty Daniel, start on Central Avenue next to the Benton County Courthouse. The 5k starts on Main Street at 3rd Street. All events finish in front of the historic Walton Five and Dime.
The Bentonville Square serves as the official backdrop for the finish line celebration, complete with festivities and fun for participants and spectators. Handshake Saints will provide music and entertainment.
