Bentonville Community Blood Drive Returns August 12

BENTONVILLE, AR — The City of Bentonville, in partnership with Northwest Health and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), will host the annual Bentonville Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This year’s drive will again offer two locations for donor convenience:

  • Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville, Classrooms A & B
    3000 Medical Center Parkway

  • Bentonville Fire Station 1, Training Room
    800 SW A Street

CBCO is the sole provider of blood, platelets, and plasma to over 40 hospitals across northwest Arkansas, southwest Missouri, and southeast Kansas. Donating blood helps ensure a safe and stable supply for patients in local hospitals, and one donation can help save up to three lives.

“This event reflects the kind of partnerships we value most: local, reliable, and focused on real needs,” said Bentonville Mayor Stephanie Orman. “It’s a chance for our community to meet a critical need together, and we’re proud to help make that possible.”

“We look forward to this annual event each year,” said Juli McWhorter, Chief Executive Officer at Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville. “Blood donations in our community, for our community, are essential to the care we provide in our hospitals and emergency departments. Being able to keep blood donations in Northwest Arkansas allows our donors to help friends and family right here at home when they need it most.”

All presenting donors will receive a limited-edition T-shirt, two general admission tickets to the Dickerson Park Zoo, free lunch, and a goody bag, while supplies last. Appointments are strongly encouraged to reduce wait times.

To schedule an appointment, visit www.cbco.org/bentonvillecommunity or call 417-227-5006.

Donors are asked to bring photo identification, eat a balanced meal, and hydrate well before donating.
