Bentonville, AR… Bentonville residents and businesses are asked to continue to conserve water as repairs are being made to the 48-inch water line that provides water to the city. The city is currently being served through an emergency water connection from the city of Rogers.
We urge residents to follow their normal daily routine but to use water judiciously at least until April 11, 2024, while repairs are being made. We kindly request refraining from activities such as lawn irrigation and heavy washing, including fences and patios, etc. As we move into the weekend, we normally see increased usage from lawn irrigation, and we asked that you postpone any heavy water usage.
On April 2nd, 2024, a contractor operating in the vicinity of Highway 112 and Wallace Road inadvertently caused damage to the 48-inch main water line that supplies the City of Bentonville. We understand the inconvenience and ask for cooperation from our citizens as the repairs are in progress. More information will be posted as to the exact timeline for the repair.
