City of Bentonville to Cut Ribbon on Water Tower Road Improvements April 11
BENTONVILLE, AR — The City of Bentonville and the Bentonville Moves Coalition will host a ribbon cutting on Friday, April 11 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the Water Tower Road Infrastructure Improvements.
Location: Asphalt lot on the east side of NWACC Parking Garage (Lot 20) at Water Tower Rd & SE NWACC Blvd.
About the Project
The Water Tower Road project upgraded the corridor between SE 14th Street and the SE 8th Street roundabout, improving safety and multimodal access. Funded by the 2019 Bentonville Bond Program, the project includes:
Expansion to a four-lane roadway with center medians
A new 10-foot multi-use trail and sidewalk
Enhanced access to NWACC, SE 14th St, and the 8th St interchange

The ribbon cutting will be followed by refreshments and a community celebration featuring local partners Motif Coffee Company, Oh Snap Ice Cream, Scotty Two Wheels, Bentonville Parks Department, and the Bentonville Moves Coalition.
Note on Jurisdiction
This project covers only the Bentonville section of Water Tower Road. Adjacent sections within Rogers, AR are managed separately.
