Bentonville, AR…The City of Bentonville is seeking community feedback on the proposed Community Plan. The city and planning consultants, Houseal Lavigne Associates, gathered public input from several workshops, surveys, interviews, and meetings to prepare the new Bentonville Community Plan. The plan will serve as a decision making guide for elected and appointed officials, city departments, developers, and others for the next 15-20 years. It will establish policies related to land use and development, transportation and mobility, community facilities, open spaces, environmental features, and image and identity.
The City is hosting a Plan Reveal Open House on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Walmart Room at the Bentonville Public Library, 405 S. Main Street in Bentonville. Plan information will be on display for participants to review and study at their leisure. City staff and the planning consultants will be available to answer questions and provide opportunities for feedback. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
