Bentonville AR…The Bentonville Fire Department is excited to announce the groundbreaking of Station 7 on Friday, February 22. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm on site at 4508 SW Prime Ave. The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
The 9,472 square foot state-of-the-art facility will be built on 2.3 acres about 4 miles southwest of Station 6. The station will have three apparatus bays and one truck wash bay. It will also include living quarters for six firefighters and a Battalion Chief, plus a substation office for the Bentonville Police Department. The architect is Jackson Brown Palculict of Little Rock. The construction manager is Clinard Construction Management of Bentonville. Construction is anticipated to be complete in Fall 2019, and has a not to exceed contract price of $2.5 million.
