Bentonville, AR… The City of Bentonville is seeking residents interested in serving on the Tree & Landscape Advisory Committee.
The responsibility of the Committee is to advise and consult on issues pertaining to the City of Bentonville’s Landscaping, Screening and Buffering ordinance, organize and administer an ongoing educational program designed to increase public awareness of trees, their needs and proper care, assist in the dissemination of news and information regarding the protection, maintenance, removal, and tree planting, and monitor the needs of the City of Bentonville with regard to its tree planting and preservation program.
Applicants must live in the corporate limits of Bentonville and be able to attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings and occasional volunteer events, such as the tree giveaway. Members serve three year terms.
