Bentonville, AR…Bentonville Parks & Recreation is pleased to invite the community to attend An Evening at Orchards Park on Monday, July 4. In recognition of Independence Day, the annual Fourth of July event will include all of the sights and sounds of a traditional, patriotic celebration. With a full playlist of classic hits and holiday favorites, Handshake Saints and Arkansas Winds will kick off the fun with live music at 7:00pm. The evening concludes with the biggest fireworks show in Northwest Arkansas at approximately 9:30pm.
The event is free to the public. There will be food trucks and concessions on site, selling summertime favorites like cotton candy, kettle corn, and snow cones. Guests are welcome to bring personal coolers, however alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. For anyone needing extra assistance and special parking accommodations, we have a dedicated parking lot and shuttle service available to the main staging area. It is recommended that eventgoers arrive early as some surrounding streets will be temporarily closed for the celebration. Orchards Park, a spacious public park – accessible and inclusive in design for all residents and visitors, is located on the corner of J Street and John DeShields Boulevard, across from the entrance to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
Please note: No personal fireworks allowed. In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks show will be postponed until Tuesday, July 5th.
