Bentonville, AR… The City of Bentonville is celebrating its 150th anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than by giving back to the community that has made the city thrive for a century and a half? As part of its sesquicentennial festivities, we are thrilled to announce a drawing for 150 lucky winners to receive a pawpaw tree!
Pawpaw trees, native to North America and famously dubbed "America's forgotten fruit," have a special place in Bentonville's history and landscape. Revered for their tropical-like fruit with a custard-like texture, pawpaws have a rich cultural significance and have long been a cherished part of Bentonville's natural heritage.
The sesquicentennial celebratory drawing is open to all Bentonville residents who wish to participate. Entries can be submitted through the form below from September 5th through the 12th. Winners will then randomly be selected to receive their very own pawpaw tree. Winners will not only receive the tree itself but also a tree stake to commemorate the occasion.
