Warrants Officer
The Bentonville Police Department warrant's officer researches location of wanted persons utilizing various resources and serves persons with the outstanding warrants. At times, the warrants officer may serve as a court bailiff in district court, transport prisoners to and from surrounding jurisdictions for court appearances, and perform other related duties.
Our current warrant's officer also serves on the US Marshalls task force and assist with locating fugitives.

Bailiff
The court bailiff is a full-time sworn Bentonville Police Officer assigned to assist the District Court. They have an important role in keeping everyone in the courtroom safe, ensure courtroom order, and provide security for judges, juries, plaintiffs and defendants.
Investigator- City Attorney's Office
With the rapid growth of NW Arkansas, specifically Bentonville, the City ensures resources are available from the initial investigation of a criminal case until successful prosecution. The Bentonville Police Department assigned a full-time sworn Bentonville Police Officer to the legal department to assist with numerous functions.
Some of the job duties include serving subpoenas, following up with victims in domestic violence cases, referrals, and assisting with several alternative sentencing options. Alternative sentencing has been a great resource and includes DWI court, Veterans Court, Drug Court, and pre-file diversion cases.
