RUNWAY CLOSURE
The Bentonville Municipal (KVBT) airport runway is scheduled to be closed from May 1 through June 10, 2023, for widening and grooving. This will allow for our runway to be widened to 75 feet and will improve safety for landing and taking off for all aircraft. Rain days will not count against their construction days, so the day closure could be longer. A night closure will happen for an additional 30 days following the widening.
The FBO has informed that the flight school and club will operate from KROG during the closure, and the retail space, club lounge, and LOUISE restaurant at the Fieldhouse will remain open during this time. They will also provide full service for rotorcraft of all types throughout the closure.
