Traffic, Signage and Safety Committee

Traffic, Signage and Safety Committee was established to designate, place, and maintain traffic-control devices and regulate traffic for the City of Bentonville.  All signage, traffic calming, temporary street closures and any other traffic control issues are address by this Committee.

This committee meets the first Monday of each month at 2:00 pm, unless there is a holiday.  A Traffic Safety Application Form must be completed and turned into the Transportation Department ten (10) business days in advance of the meeting to be placed on the meeting's agenda.  Any question concerning Traffic, Signage and Safety Committee, please contact Transportation Department at (479) 271-3131.

Because of the recent upswing in Covid-19 cases in Arkansas, the City has chosen to have most meetings via Zoom and not in person.  The next meeting of the Traffic Safety & Signage Committee is scheduled for Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm, via Zoom ONLY.   If you would like to be included on the agenda to speak before the Committee, please submit your application to Beverly Shepherd at bshepherd@bentonvillear.com.  If you would like to just attend the meeting, you may email or call her at (479) 271-3130, or click on the link below.
