Spring Tree Giveaway

2018 Spring Tree Giveaway

The City of Bentonville offers two tree giveaways a year for Bentonville residents, one in the spring and one in the fall. The goal of the giveaways are to increase the city’s overall tree canopy, promote a healthier environment, and improve the physical appearance and visual character of the built environment.

The 2018 spring tree giveaway is on Saturday, April 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Bentonville Community Center located at 1101 SW Citizens Circle.

Approximately 400 trees are available to Bentonville residents only. The limit is two trees per household.

Pre-registration will be available which enables participants to:

  1. Receive advance verification of Bentonville residency*.
  2. Pre-register for one or two trees per household for pick up at any time during the event.

For Bentonville residents that do not pre-register, approximately 50 trees will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Proof of Bentonville residency*, including an ID and City of Bentonville utility bill is required.

The giveaway is made possible by the city’s Tree & Landscape Advisory Committee and the Bentonville Parks Conservancy.

*Please note that a Bentonville address may fall outside of the Bentonville city limits. Only those residents that live inside the city limits quality for the tree giveaway. In most cases, if you receive a City of Bentonville utility bill, you are a Bentonville resident.
