Bentonville, AR...The Bentonville Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) and Visit Bentonville are seeking proposals for artwork in the public realm to expand art and culture throughout the community to reflect the growing artistic endeavors in Northwest Arkansas. They are seeking proposals for artwork at two locations in Bentonville.
The first location is in northern Bentonville at the corner of Tiger Boulevard and NW A Street and is at the northeast corner of Park Springs Park. The “Corner @ Park Springs Park” has been designated as a temporary display site for public art, with pieces on display at this location for a minimum of one year. The committee has budgeted $10,000 to cover transportation, installation, one-year display, and removal of the selected artwork.
The second location is in southwest Bentonville inside the roundabout at the intersection of SW Bright Road and SW Gator Boulevard. The “Roundabout @ Bright Road” is an 88-foot diameter roundabout in a predominantly residential area that carries traffic for three schools. The committee has budgeted $15,000 for transportation, installation, and purchase of the selected artwork.
