Training Tower

In 2023, the fire department logged 45,203 training hours and trained in HazMat, technical rescue, emergency medical response, and structural firefighter training.

The Bentonville Fire Training Tower opened in May 2023.

This 5-story training facility is vital for the training of our firefighters. They train in a clean environment and replicate the training for all three shifts for consistency. Each floor presents different training scenarios firefighters might encounter in a live situation. The training facility allows reduced environmental impact for training with simulated smoke. This facility was paid for with funding from the 2021 bond extension.
